Het Archief — Writing Workshop and Activation
Through a series of writing exercises, participants will generate texts that will be deposited into the slots of the nine devices that make up the installation.
Each of them already contains a previously inserted text. By participating, visitors become part of the work.
Until now, the texts inserted by the artist have remained undisclosed. In this way, for the remainder of the exhibition, both those who write and those who visit will share the same condition: that of a content that is present yet inaccessible, intimate and hidden.
The work is based on the idea that language is not fixed, but constantly transforms through its everyday use: in gestures, in movements, in errors and misunderstandings.
In that intermediate space —between what is said and what is interpreted— new possibilities of meaning emerge. The devices operate as zones of transition between the public and the intimate, between interior and exterior.
The texts you write will remain as part of an ephemeral archive, in continuous displacement within the exhibition space, with the possibility of a future publication in which they may come to light.
